Can acne be cured by pomegranate?
I was reading a book about home remedies and found out that pomegranate (Punica granatum) is effective in treating acne. the book further says that it was used by women in the Persian empire as a skin cleansing agent. Since Pomegranate is cultivated through Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and the close by region this claim seems believable.
Why is it effective against acne?
Pomegranate is a great antioxidant with high nutritional presence. As we know acne is caused by unwanted toxin in the body and thus pomegranate is effective in cases of acne as they rid the body of toxins.
How to Use it:
You can have pomegranate by itself or can also add it to your salads and fruit cups.
Pomegranate Juice for Acne:
Pomegranate Juice is also very effective in cases of acne. you can blend the Pomegranate arils in the juicer and add water ice and black pepper for taste. it is not only a very nourishing drink but it also does wonders for your acne.

I couldn’t understand some parts of this article e be cured by pomegranate? | Acne Clearup Blog, but I guess I just need to check some more resources regarding this, because it sounds interesting.
