Chemical Peel: It is another most effective technique for smoothing the appearance of skin and treating scars. In this procedure Phenol, trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and alphahydroxy acids (AHAs) are used to chemically exfoliate the dead skin layers that gives your skin ugly look and texture. Although chemical peel is effective, people having sensitive skin usually do not prefer chemical peel for treating acne scars.

Laser Resurfacing: In this method, laser is used to remove damaged skin layers and stimulates the production of collagen by transferring heat energy to collagen producing cells. Before performing this procedure, local anesthesia is used while you are awake. After the treatment, the skin is covered with topical antibiotics.
