Bottled water that supposedly combats acne
I was reading this in a paper the other day about a Nutraceuticals company in UK that claims to make bottled water that would reduce your acne. although the idea might sound appealing to many of you i have my reservations about such an idea.
The Idea behind beauty:
The water which is named "Beauty" has Praventin as its main ingredient, several studies have shown that Praventin has shown to reduce the development of bacteria which is largely responsible for many skin impurities and disorders, thus beauty would help prevent the formation of many skin disorders. Apart from this beauty also contains Aloe Vera which is great for skin.
Why I think it is a bad idea:
The basic cause for acne is the excess toxin that is not properly flushed from the body so we should address this disorder with a product that works to resolve the core problem and is natural so that it doesnt have any side effects. Also I think drinking praventin on a daily basis can not be good for your health. it could lead to complications that might have been ignored by the people that made this product. we should wait at least for some sort of study that proves this product before drinking it.
