Venessa Williams tried Urine for her acne problem?
During a conversation about unconventional acne or skin remedies with my friends(since we all are associated with writing about health care we talk about such stuff) one of them told me one of the freakiest piece of news ever, she said that Ugly Betty star Vanessa Williams in an interview with OK magazine admitted to almost applying urine(Thank God for the almost) all over her face so that she could get rid of her acne. She said that she tried very hard but couldn’t get herself to do it. She said that a friend of hers told her about the mystical powers of urine and convinced her that it was good for her recurring acne problems.
This is the most bizarre acne remedy that I have heard and it left me disgusted for quiet some time. I don’t know from where do people get such ideas. Acne is a skin disorder that leaves people distressed specially if your job is to look pretty in front of audiences in the millions but it doesn’t mean that you have to do something so utterly disgusting. The fact that Vanessa even considered such a thing is disturbing to me because after all she is a celebrity and in this celebrity crazy society there is a chance that somebody reading that interview might do what she almost did. Acne is a skin disorder which can be treated through many treatments both conventional and unconventional but this is taking the unconventional to the extreme. So if you are trying to dare yourself with something to fix your acne take urine out of the equation please because it might aggravate your problem and with it some scars that are much worse then just some pimple you don’t like.
